Hi Roses,

I believe it means she's freeing herself up to fight the Obama debacle... to remind us of America's precious freedoms... and to forge ahead on the national scene. Depending upon what happens, she'll perhaps throw her hat into the 2012 race. Go Sarah!

And Roses: thank you so very much for your hospitality here. We Very Much Appreciate YOU and Also Table 9.

What could be the real reason of Sarah Palin resignation? Come check it out and vote - http://www.votetheday.com/america/palin-resignation-424/

Sarah Palin is just another blibbering humdinger republican with no hope of ever becoming president. She just shot a big hole in her little row boat. Maybe she can do some guest spots on Saturday Night Live. Probably not. She might have a hard time getting air time now that she is leaving office. She will never experience the euphoric promise of power that was the McCain/Palin presidential ticket. But really, that was her sixty seconds of fame. Now Palin is spiraling down, down, down into the blissful depths of obscurity where she will seldom have to answer sonar's inquisitive ping or a reporters leading question. Goodbye beautiful Sarah, goodbye.

Did it ever occur to you anonymous, that she does not care? Her family matters more than you and your vicious circle of friends?

It means she'll no longer be the governor of Alaska.

Well, maybe. I mean, she looks warm-blooded but, I never saw any real proof of that. She seemed pretty vicious on the campaign trail and some of her political rallies were shameful the way she fanned the flames of racial and religious prejudice. On the other hand, she is a republican and in recent years evidence suggests that dinosaurs were warm blooded, so, there you have it. Probably going home to prepare her family for extinction.

Good call, anonymouslikeU.

Anon, check out the scoreboard. There has not been anyone in American politics in the last 50 years more racist than Barack Obama. Had any white politician sat even once in the pews of a white version of Reverend Wright, their careers would be over. He did it for 20 years. Rev. Wright trumps everything you can find on everyone in the entire Republican party combined.

Of course, he doesn't speak to Reverend Wright any more because, as the good Reverend will tell you, "them Jews won't let him."

Accusations of racism? Bring it, baby. That's like grooving a fastball to Hank Aaron.

When were Jews a race? Reverend Wright said things that others are afraid to say. It pissed a lot of racists off because he acted like an uppity nigger who wouldn't shut up and the backlash threatened Obama's race for President. You might want to sweep the history of civil rights under the rug, but, Reverend Wright's freedom of speech has constitutional protection and I am happy that you can do nothing to shut him up.

Wright, Obama, and Santomayor are speaking, and their speech exposes them as racists.
And you too anon.

"Reverend Wright trumps everything you can find on everyone in the entire Republican party combined."

Oh really? That is a pretty big claim since you are not privy to everything said by party operatives, and besides, racists come in all political stripes. It is a silly argument you make, because Reverend Wright does not speak on behalf of political parties. One more thing - How do you know that President Obama and Reverend Wright do not communicate with each other? You are pretty dim bulb if you believe everything that you read and hear. I can tag bullshit on the end of nearly every one of the sentences you wrote and, further more, you have no credibility calling anyone a racist. You see what you expect to see, I suppose, but, I'm sorry to inform you that see from the perspective of your own racial prejudice. For you to say that there has been no one in politics more racist than President Obama in the last 50 years is mental. Please do not have any more children and please put up for adoption those you may already have. They deserve to be loved and protected from those that blindly hate.

Oh ho! Its high times on Rose's blog with everyone shouting racist at everyone else. I suppose you are all just warming up to use the f-word. But, just because Rose uses it doesn't mean the rest of you shouldn't have your mouths washed out with soap for calling someone a fascist. So don't do it.

I believe Obama to be the least racist of any politician ever. After all, his mother was white. Seems to me he is a lot more comfortable with himself and his heritage than those who stupidly call him a racist. He isn't perfect, but, who is? Personally, I would like to see us out of Afghanistan and single payer medical. Hey, he is not god. Hopefully he has the ingenuity to get this country moving in the right direction. I sure don't care for what eight years of the previous administration brought us, some of which began under the Clinton administration. We are only six months into the Obama administration, but I'm so grateful that we are talking about president Obama and not President McCain.

Or Vice President Palin.

It means she has a Fox News show lined up for Sunday afternoon, right after Huckabee. It's sort of the Hollywood Squares for washed up reactionaries these days.

Television will showcase Sarah Palin's visible assets for sure, though call-in talk radio is better suited to her blibbering humdinger style of republican propaganda where callers can be muted and talked down Rush Limbaugh style. Still, it was her visual impact that stunned her worshipful followers. Fitting that the dinosaur party would fall for an aging beauty queen, really. Maybe she could star in a reality/soap opera/big game hunting kind of program where she talks a blibbering humdinger brand of republican politics around the campfire Ted Nugent style - not that I would watch - but, I think a lot of people would, sadly.

vote palin!

btw - I agree that Obama, like that of the entire far left is racist. Not the left mind you, but the far left.

I cringe at the racism in my country today. I was raised without that racism. I was raised by a family that believed that a person should be measured not by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character. Not with this presidency.

"Not the left but the far left."

Yeah, one must make fine distinctions when describing the left, for sure, because you've got yer near left, near mid left, mid left, far mid left, and yer far left. Keep in mind that there is no such a thing as near far left and persons caught using that description are not thought to be reliable. It can get confusing but accuracy is important if you care anything fer facts. A liberal person should be slandered and libeled in direct portion to where they land on the left scale, fer sure.

Now is the time to vote for Palin because it can do no harm what-so-ever since she isn't running for elected office. As a matter of fact, now is the time to vote for Palin twice, a dozen, or even a hundred times depending on the size of yer commitment. Personally, I think voting for Sarah right now would be a nice gesture and would give her a good send off as she leaves her governorship. Really, your sentiment shows the content of yer character and the quality of yer thinkin'. I can't say no better than that. Bless you. And God bless Sarah Palin.
